Karachi, In a strategic move to bolster Pakistan’s digital economy, Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Dr. Umar Saif, has announced the development of a comprehensive roadmap designed to enhance the sector for the upcoming government. This initiative aims to leverage the country’s IT sector to potentially generate billions of dollars in revenue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Saif, while addressing a meeting in Karachi, emphasized the critical role of the digital economy in the nation’s financial health. He pointed out that the continuation of policies and initiatives introduced by the caretaker government could significantly benefit the country’s revenue generation capabilities. Additionally, Dr. Saif highlighted the supportive role of the SIFC forum in assisting the elected government with the development process, suggesting it as a vital component in the roadmap’s successful implementation.
