Karachi, A road accident occurred on the Kandh Kot Indus Highway, leading to immediate rescue instructions from IG Sindh, Rafat Mukhtiar Raja. The instructions were directed towards ensuring prompt medical attention to the injured and swift clearance of the highway to restore traffic flow.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtiar Raja instructed SSP Kandh Kot to ensure that the injured from the road accident are transferred to the nearest hospital on an emergency basis. The directive emphasized the urgency of providing immediate medical care to those affected by the incident.

Furthermore, IG Raja ordered that the road be cleared to allow for the resumption of traffic, minimizing disruption and ensuring safety for other road users. He also stressed the importance of implementing necessary measures to prevent future road accidents on the highway, highlighting the need for enhanced safety protocols and vigilance to safeguard the wellbeing of commuters.
