Washington: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has called for a durable resolution of the Kashmir dispute to ensure peace in the region. In an interview with Newsweek, as reported by Kashmir Media Service, Sheikh emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to peace and economic development.
The ambassador categorically denied any involvement of Pakistan in the recent Pahalgam attack, underlining that Pakistan’s focus remains on the geo-economics aspect of its geography and foreign policy. Sheikh stated that the pursuit of peace aligns with Pakistan’s economic goals.
