River Garden Residents Address Rumors of Development Changes with CDA Official

Islamabad: A delegation from River Garden met with Shahid Rasool, the Project Director of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) River Garden, to discuss concerns regarding potential changes in their community. The residents sought clarification on rumors about the sale of land and alterations to the community layout, including the closure of Gate No. 2 and the conversion of the community center into plots.

According to Capital Development Authority, Shahid Rasool reassured the delegation that there were no plans to alter the existing residential master plan, dismissing the rumors as false. The residents, who voiced their determination to maintain the current layout plan, expressed relief at the clarification and agreed to manage any future misinformation. Additionally, the delegation highlighted issues related to security, stray dogs, and marshmallow vendors, to which Shahid Rasool pledged to address appropriately. The delegation comprised several community members, including Raja Khalid, Parvaiz Kayani, and Ms. Ehsan Rizwan, among others.
