Islamabad, In a significant development concerning the Senate elections, authorities are set to issue a revised list of candidates today. This update comes as part of the electoral process leading up to the polling for 48 vacant seats in the upper house of Parliament, scheduled for the second of next month. Candidates interested in withdrawing their nomination papers have until tomorrow to do so, indicating a critical juncture in the election timeline.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this electoral exercise is aimed at filling seats across various categories, including general seats, seats for women, and seats for technocrats and Ulema, within the Senate.
