Lahore, October 19, 2022 (PPI-OT): A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Special Secretary Development Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Muhammad Usman, in which Additional Secretary Finance Shahida Farrukh, Additional Secretary Technical Dr. Hafiz Shahid Latif, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti, CEO Punjab Institute of Cardiology Professor Bilal Mohiuddin, MS Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology Dr. Qazi Ghulam Murtaza and other officers participated.

Special Secretary Muhammad Usman reviewed the ongoing development projects in various government teaching hospitals during the meeting. Briefing the Special Secretary during the meeting. Apart from reviewing the steps taken to make Sadiq Abbasi Civil Hospital Bahawalpur fully functional, he also reviewed the ongoing progress of the Mother and Child Hospital in Bahawalpur.

Special Secretary Development Muhammad Usman said that funds are being provided for the expansion of Wazir Abadan Institute of Cardiology, making Sadiq Abbasi Civil Hospital Bahawalpur fully operational and Mother and Child Hospital Bahawalpur.

The ongoing progress on the three health projects is being continuously reviewed. He further said that the three health projects will be completed on time. All ongoing development schemes related to government teaching hospitals of Punjab are being reviewed. Quality and transparency are being ensured in all ongoing health development projects.
