Religious Scholars Pledge Support for Government’s Peace Initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Religious scholars and Ulema have pledged their full support to the government’s initiatives to foster peace, harmony, social stability, and national security in the country. This commitment was made during a high-level meeting chaired by the Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf.

According to Radio Pakistan, the scholars and Ulema also voiced their strong support for the Armed Forces of Pakistan in their efforts to preserve peace, stability, and national unity. They emphasized their dedication to upholding the Constitution’s supremacy and the stability of state institutions.

Expressing complete solidarity with the government and security forces in combating terrorism, extremism, and subversive activities, the religious leaders paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces. They acknowledged the nation’s debt to the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs and Ghazis.

The Ulema called on scholars from all schools of thought to actively promote national unity and harmony across the country.
