Islamabad, In a significant move towards national cohesion, religious scholars across various schools of thought have called upon political parties in Pakistan to establish a national accord aimed at navigating the country through its current crises. This appeal was made during the “Convention for Pakistan Accord,” where participants underscored the urgency of collaborative efforts for the nation’s welfare.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the convention, organized by the Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) and chaired by its Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, culminated in a joint declaration. This declaration emphasized the critical need for all stakeholders, including political factions and religious communities, to come together in drafting a comprehensive covenant dedicated to Pakistan’s advancement.
The initiative highlights a growing consensus among religious leaders on the importance of unity and cooperation among the country’s political entities to address and overcome the multifaceted challenges it faces.
