Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif announced a new relief-oriented budget designed to alleviate the financial burden on the salaried class and stimulate economic growth. Expressing gratitude to both the nation and Almighty Allah, the Prime Minister highlighted the achievement of economic stability and the newfound opportunity to pass on its benefits to the populace.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the patience and resilience displayed by the citizens of Pakistan during challenging times, emphasizing their role in stabilizing the economy. He assured the public that the government is committed to ensuring that the fruits of this stability are shared among all segments of society, marking the beginning of a period of prosperity.

The proposed budget focuses on reducing the financial strain on salaried individuals, boosting exports, promoting industrial and agricultural development, and enhancing both investment and economic growth. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the government’s dedication to involving every societal segment in the development process, ensuring that the strengthening economy benefits all citizens directly.

The Prime Minister also expressed his appreciation for key figures and institutions, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and the Chief Ministers of the four provinces, whose efforts contributed to the formulation of the budget. He highlighted several government initiatives, such as the Apna Ghar program, tax reliefs, job creation for youth, and the promotion of business activities, all aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
