Islamabad, The process of registering the newly elected members of the National Assembly is currently ongoing at the National Assembly Secretariat, where a Facilitation Center has been established specifically for this purpose. Today, notable incoming members including Abdul Aleem Khan, Mustafa Mehmood, Ameer Ali Shah Jilani, Shehryar Khan Mehr, Mian Azhar, Sharmila Farooqui, and Sardar Ali Gohar Mehr completed their registration.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the completion of the registration process and the issuance of identification cards to the National Assembly members are essential steps that must be taken before the legislative body convenes for its opening session. The Speaker of the National Assembly has emphasized the importance of this procedure and has urged all newly elected members to finalize their registration ahead of the inaugural session.

This registration phase marks a critical step in the transition process, ensuring that the newly elected representatives are formally recognized and ready to undertake their legislative duties in Pakistan’s lower house of Parliament.
