Recovery of US-Made Ammunition in Mianwali Terror Attack

ISLAMABAD, US-manufactured ammunition has been recovered from terrorists involved in the recent Mianwali Airbase attack. The findings point to the availability and use of foreign weaponry, including RPG-7, AK-74, M-4, and M-16/A4 firearms, by terrorists in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting revealed experts’ observations that American weapons are readily available in Afghanistan and are being used by terrorists against Pakistan. The large stockpiles of US weapons in Afghanistan post the American military withdrawal are a source of concern, as terrorists independently use these arms in attacks, including the previous incident in Zhob cantonment. The Afghan interim authorities are urged to prevent the use of Afghan territory for militancy and terrorism.
