Rawalpindi Seminar Promotes “Plant for Pakistan” Initiative Under Green Pakistan

Rawalpindi, Under the Green Pakistan Initiative, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) hosted a seminar in Rawalpindi aimed at promoting the “Plant for Pakistan” campaign. The event focused on increasing public awareness and involvement, particularly among the youth, in national reforestation efforts.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the seminar brought together experts in forestry, agriculture, and livestock to educate participants about the importance of enhancing Pakistan’s green cover. The discussions highlighted the structure of the land and the state of forests across the country, emphasizing the critical role of sustainable practices in environmental conservation.

The initiative seeks to not only beautify the environment but also to address the pressing issues of climate change and ecological degradation through active participation from the community. By involving young Pakistanis, SIFC aims to foster a sense of responsibility and direct action towards planting trees and conserving natural resources for future generations.
