Rawalakot Youth Moot Marks 8th Anniversary of Burhan Wani’s Martyrdom

Rawalakot: A significant gathering marked the 8th martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani in Rawalakot, AJK, at a youth moot organized by local educational and advocacy groups. The event paid tribute to Wani’s influence on the Kashmiri youth and his role in the region’s freedom struggle.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Institute of Multi-Track Diplomacy, Dialogue, and Development Studies, in collaboration with PG College Rawalakot, hosted the event in the college’s grand hall, attracting a wide audience. Speakers at the event highlighted Wani’s use of social media to inspire and mobilize Kashmiri youth, emphasizing his status as a symbol of resistance and hope.

The program featured several keynote speakers, including Dr. Zafar and political commentator Dr. Waleed Rasool, who analyzed Wani’s impact on the Kashmiri freedom movement and its broader implications. They discussed the resonance of Wani’s actions with the international community and the philosophical aspects of his struggle. Professor Mumtaz also spoke, focusing on the need for unity and the importance of peaceful strategic efforts to advance the Kashmiri cause.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from the college administration and a commitment to continue raising awareness and fostering solidarity among the Kashmiri youth.
