Muzaffarabad, January 06, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Rasm-e-Qul of Kashmiri freedom activist, Bashir Ahmed Wani alias Khaki Nasrullah, who passed away on Wednesday, was held in Muzaffarabad, today. A large number of people attended the condolence meeting. Addressing on the occasion, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Muhammad Farooq Rehmani paid rich tributes to the deceased.
Bashir Ahmed Wani who hailed from Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) was an uncompromising campaigner against India’s illegal hold on Jammu and Kashmir. He had to migrate to Pakistan after continued harassment and victimization by the Indian troops for his affiliation with the Kashmir freedom movement.
