Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon Elected Chairman of Special Committee on Kashmir

Islamabad: In a significant parliamentary session today at the Parliament House, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, MNA, was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Special Committee on Kashmir. This election marks a pivotal moment for the committee, which plays a crucial role in addressing issues related to the Kashmir region.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the election was conducted smoothly under the guidance of Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Advisor (Legislation), who outlined the procedure for the selection of the chairman as per the rules established in 2007. The proposal to elect Noon was introduced by Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, MNA/Member, and received unanimous support from all committee members.

The newly elected Chairman, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, expressed his gratitude towards the committee members for their confidence and assured them of his commitment to lead the committee effectively. The meeting also saw remarks from senior officials and members, including Dr. Tariq Fazal Ch. and Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar, who congratulated Noon and pledged their full support for the committee’s future endeavors.
