Lahore: During the inauguration of the Emerging Talent Basketball Tournament 2024, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, underscored the significant role of youth in driving Pakistan’s prosperity and development.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mashhood lauded Pakistan’s young talent as essential to the nation’s progress and highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering this potential. He specifically pointed out Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s dedication to women’s empowerment, noting various initiatives aimed at supporting women throughout the country.
Mashhood also expressed optimism about Pakistan’s economic trajectory, praising the recent progress and attributing part of this success to the active involvement of the younger generation in various sectors. His remarks at the basketball tournament emphasized the government’s strategy to integrate youth in sports and other developmental agendas to boost national growth.
