Islamabad, September 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter took out a rally from National Press Club to Blue Area in Islamabad to pay homage to the great Kashmiri freedom leader, Syed Ali Gilani on his first martyrdom anniversary, today.
Besides Hurriyat leaders, various political, religious and social figures from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and members of Kashmiri community participated in the event. The rally was led by APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, and the participants carried banners with pictures of their beloved martyred leader. They raised slogans in favour of Kashmiri martyrs and against illegal Indian occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.
Hurriyat leaders and others while addressing the participants paid tribute to Syed Ali Gilani and said that he endured Indian persecution all his life for demanding the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from the illegal Indian occupation and its merger with Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The leaders reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of Syed Ali Gilani.
