Rallies Across Pakistan Honor Youm-e-Takbeer Anniversary


Islamabad, Rallies and special ceremonies marked the observance of Youm-e-Takbeer across Pakistan, with citizens from various regions participating to celebrate the nation’s nuclear achievements. The day commemorates Pakistan’s nuclear tests conducted in 1998, which are seen as pivotal to the country’s defense capabilities.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, significant gatherings took place in multiple cities including Swabi and Orakzai in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Rawalpindi. These events featured participation from diverse groups, including students from local schools and educational institutions, who carried national flags and voiced patriotic slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad.”



Participants paid tribute to the scientists responsible for Pakistan’s nuclear program, crediting them with strengthening the nation’s defense. The rallies not only served as a reminder of Pakistan’s strategic advancements but also as a demonstration of national pride and unity.
