New Delhi, All meat and fish establishments across Rajasthan have been ordered closed by the state government in light of the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the directive to close these establishments, predominantly owned by Muslims, was issued by the Rajasthan government. This statewide closure encompasses all relevant establishments within Rajasthan’s borders. Suresh Kumar Ola, the Director of the Local Self-Government Department, has instructed municipal authorities in Rajasthan to ensure the closure of all slaughterhouses, meat, and fish shops on January 22 to mark the consecration of the Ram Temple.
Additionally, the Indian government has announced a half-day closure for Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments nationwide on the same day. The Ministry of Personnel and Training released an official memorandum on January 19, notifying all Ministries and Departments about the half-day closure.
