Islamabad: Dust and thunderstorm-related rain are expected to begin today in the northern regions of the country, with the weather pattern anticipated to continue until April 11, as per the latest weather update from the meteorological office.
The forecast indicates temperatures are likely to exceed typical levels by 4 to 7 degrees Celsius in central and southern Punjab, Sindh, and parts of Balochistan during Tuesday and Wednesday.
In the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh, stormy conditions accompanied by gusty winds are also expected throughout the forecast period.
The met office has issued a warning that wind, dust storms, hailstorms, and lightning may pose a risk to loose structures, including electric poles, trees, vehicles, and solar panels.
