Rawalpindi: Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi made an unannounced visit to the Rawalpindi Railway Station, where he embarked on a Lahore-bound train as a regular passenger to better understand the difficulties faced by travelers.
During his visit on Sunday, Abbasi personally purchased a ticket and boarded the train, aiming to gain firsthand insight into passenger experiences.
Addressing fellow travelers, the Minister expressed his commitment to using this experience to inform future policies designed to enhance the Railways and its services.
Abbasi underscored that improving travel facilities for citizens is his primary focus as Railways Minister.
