Islamabad, Minister for Railways, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, has drawn attention to the significant opportunities available for French investment in various sectors within Pakistan.
According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting with Nicolas Galey, the French Ambassador to Pakistan, in Islamabad, Minister Tarar highlighted the developmental activities of Pakistan Railways, including a prospective route from Kohat to Kharlachi aimed at connecting with Afghanistan. He also presented the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6 as a prime investment prospect for French entities. Furthermore, he pointed out the expansion plans of the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, indicating potential investment opportunities.
Ambassador Galey reflected on the longstanding and cooperative relationship between France and Pakistan. He confirmed the interest of French investors in Pakistani ventures and assured continued efforts to attract significant French investment into the country.
