Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Hypocrisy in Dynastic Politics

New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi, a key figure in India’s Congress party, has sharply criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of engaging in dynastic politics. During a recent public statement, Gandhi labeled the Indian cabinet as a “Parivar Mandal” (family club), showcasing a list of 20 ministers from the BJP with familial ties in politics.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Gandhi’s comments are a direct response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accusations against the Congress party of perpetuating family-based governance. Gandhi’s retaliation highlighted the contradiction between the BJP’s criticisms and its practices, as he exposed the family connections prevalent within the Modi government.

Gandhi emphasized the disparity between the BJP’s rhetoric on nepotism and its actions, accusing Modi of favoring his “sarkari parivar” (government family). His critique on social media platform X included a detailed list of BJP Cabinet ministers who have inherited their political roles, aiming to demonstrate the widespread nepotism within the party.
