R-4 Ministerial Meeting Begins in Cairo with Focus on Regional Cooperation


CAIRO: The R-4 Ministerial meeting started today in Cairo, Egypt, where foreign ministers from Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye convened to discuss regional developments and collaboration. The meeting, held in a restricted format, focused on implementing the ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ and exploring priority areas of cooperation.



According to Radio Pakistan, the foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and regional ownership of shared challenges. The discussions included Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.



The four countries continue to deepen their cooperation efforts, aiming to foster a more peaceful, stable, and connected region.
