Quetta Rally Marks Kashmir Exploitation Day with Calls for Self-Determination

Quetta: Led by Provincial Adviser on Environment and Climate Change Naseem Rehman Khan Malakhil, a significant rally from the Deputy Commissioner Office to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan highlighted the ongoing Kashmir Exploitation Day, drawing attention to the plight of Kashmir under Indian administration. Participants including civil society members, tribal elders, and academics voiced strong support for Kashmiri self-determination and denounced India’s actions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the rally saw a diverse group of participants carrying banners with slogans supporting Kashmiri rights and condemning Indian atrocities. Malakhil criticized the Indian government’s revocation of Kashmir’s special status on August 5, 2019, as a permanent annexation attempt, which he described as a “crude fantasy” that ignored the Kashmiris’ rights to self-determination amid ongoing oppression.

The rally, culminating at the Balochistan Provincial Assembly Chowk, became a platform for expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri struggle against Indian domination. Malakhil highlighted the illegal and unconstitutional nature of India’s abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, emphasizing the need for international intervention to prevent potential regional conflict and uphold human rights in Kashmir.
