Quetta: Provincial Minister of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Vasa Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran emphasized the government’s commitment to providing clean drinking water and essential services, urging citizens to adopt responsible behaviors such as regular bill payments and avoiding illegal water connections. The minister detailed these priorities during meetings with various delegations and follow-up discussions with relevant authorities to address public grievances.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Khetran’s remarks came during a series of engagements where he highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance the department’s capabilities despite fiscal constraints. He noted that increasing the department’s self-generated income and exploring additional revenue streams are crucial for the sustainability and enhancement of services.
The minister also reiterated the provincial government’s dedication to expediting development projects, aligning with Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s directive to improve public facilities swiftly and efficiently. These initiatives aim to ensure that the benefits of development reach the citizens of Balochistan promptly.
