Quetta Minister Prioritizes Road Infrastructure to Boost Provincial Development

Quetta, Provincial Minister of Communications and Construction Mir Saleem Ahmad Khosa outlined his commitment to improving road infrastructure in the province, particularly focusing on enhancing connectivity in Kohita city. His statements came during a review of ongoing development projects including significant road expansions and flyover constructions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during a detailed review with Secretary Communications and Construction Qamber Dashti and Chief Engineer Design Dr. Sajjad Baloch, Khosa expressed dissatisfaction with the current pace of the projects. He emphasized the need for urgent completion of the Customs Flyover and Gahi Khan Chowk to Western Bypass Road, among others, citing the necessity to alleviate traffic in densely populated areas.

The Minister instructed engineers to resolve technical issues swiftly and to avoid any compromises on the quality of the construction. He stressed that the department’s performance is crucial for regional development and prosperity, indicating a no-tolerance policy for delays and substandard work in ongoing projects.
