Quetta Minister Announces Initiatives to Combat Water Shortages and Illegal Connections


Quetta: In a recent statement, Provincial Minister of Public Health Engineering Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran outlined the government’s commitment to addressing water scarcity and promoting a clean, transparent environment across the province.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Khetran emphasized the government’s efforts to provide relief to citizens by incorporating new water projects in the upcoming annual development program. These initiatives aim to tackle the significant challenges of water shortages in various regions of the province and ensure a consistent water supply for all residents.



Furthermore, Minister Khetran announced that the government would intensify actions against illegal water connections, which he identified as a major hurdle in the distribution of water resources. The removal of such connections is expected to improve the efficiency and fairness of water supply, contributing to the health and well-being of the province’s communities.
