Quetta Division Honors Distinguished Educator Abdul Rashid Kakar with VIP Status

Quetta: Commissioner Hamza Shafaqat of Quetta Division recently praised the pivotal role of teachers in nation-building, singling out Abdul Rashid Kakar, a Presidential Medal of Excellence recipient, for special recognition. Kakar, lauded for elevating the province’s stature through his educational contributions, has been granted VIP status across government offices.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Shafaqat’s commendations were expressed during a meeting with Ustad Abdul Rashid Kakar, who was also awarded the Tagha Hasan Award by the President of Pakistan. In light of Kakar’s exemplary service, Shafaqat has directed Divisional Deputy Commissioners to ensure Kakar receives special protocol in all governmental interactions.

Furthermore, Shafaqat has instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta to organize a training lecture for local educators, inviting Kakar to share his experiences. This initiative aims to inspire other teachers to achieve similar excellence and contribute positively to the region’s educational landscape.

At the meeting, Abdul Rashid Kakar expressed gratitude for the support and recognition, highlighting Commissioner Shafaqat as a role model for government officials. The session concluded with Shafaqat presenting a traditional Balochi stick to Kakar, symbolizing respect and appreciation for his significant contributions to education in Balochistan.
