Quetta: The Quetta Development Authority (QDA) has reaffirmed its dedication to pursuing projects of public interest without succumbing to external pressures, the Director of Planning Commercial and Building Control. The announcements come amidst discussions with public delegations and plot holders at the QDA office, emphasizing a no-tolerance policy towards illegal activities and land encroachments in the area.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Qayyum Shah, the Drawing and Dispersing Officer and Surveyor at QDA, stated during the meetings that all operations within QDA’s jurisdiction would strictly adhere to legal frameworks, particularly concerning private housing schemes. The assurance of lawful governance follows recent reforms and decisions by Director General QDA, Askar Khan, which have reportedly started to yield positive outcomes.
The QDA’s leadership has made clear that the rights of plot holders will be staunchly protected, with no concessions to unauthorized claims or occupations. The agency’s commitment extends to leveraging all available resources to enhance Quetta’s infrastructure and resolve urban issues, driven by a workforce dedicated to the city’s welfare.
