Quetta, A crucial meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lieutenant (R) Saad Bin Asad, has resolved to commence a substantial anti-encroachment operation targeting various unregulated businesses across the city.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting, attended by all assistant commissioners and magistrates of Quetta, outlined specific actions against plastic bag sellers, butchers, poultry shopkeepers, milk vendors, and rickshaw pullers violating city regulations. The Deputy Commissioner ordered daily actions against mutton and poultry shops that disregard the official price list, with directives to seal such establishments and detain violators. Similar stringent measures are to be enforced against milk and curd sellers.
Additionally, Lt. Saad Bin Asad has directed that all rickshaws within Quetta city be moved to Hazarganji to reduce congestion. He also emphasized the importance of clearing encroachments on major streets such as Sabzi Street, Kasi Road, and Dry Fruit Street, mandating the demolition of illegal structures obstructing public pathways.
