Quetta: Dr. Rababa Khan Baldi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Women Development, highlighted the critical need for heightened health awareness among women and children during a meeting with Zulekha Raisai, CEO of The Kathleen Kamal Raisai Foundation (KKRF). The meeting focused on discussing the foundation’s recent initiatives in Quetta, which included awareness sessions on breast cancer and general health, aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of women and children in the region.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Baldi emphasized the significance of educating society on healthy living principles to effectively address health challenges faced by women and children. The sessions organized by KKRF covered vital topics such as breast cancer awareness and hygiene practices in local schools and women’s training centers, which Dr. Baldi noted as essential for raising societal awareness.
The advisor also underscored the necessity of expanding training and awareness centers to empower women, enabling them to independently resolve their health issues and improve their quality of life. The meeting underscored the ongoing commitment of the Balochistan government to support initiatives that foster an informed and healthy community.
