Qila Abdullah: After several hours of intense efforts, a family trapped in the rising floodwaters in the Arambi area of Qila Abdullah was successfully rescued by local authorities, highlighting the challenges posed by the recent flooding in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Farooq Abdullah coordinated the rescue operation, employing the Levies Force and Irrigation Department’s machinery to ensure the safe extraction of the family, which included women and children. The district administration had earlier closed roads to traffic due to the flooding, but the family’s vehicle became submerged while attempting to cross the river. The Deputy Commissioner issued strict instructions to prioritize the safety of the individuals involved, particularly the vulnerable members, during the prolonged rescue operation. Following the successful rescue, Deputy Commissioner Abdullah urged the public to adhere to safety guidelines and cooperate with local authorities during emergencies to prevent similar incidents.
