Karachi: The Qatar Emiri Naval Ship (QENS) ALKHOR arrived in Karachi to participate in the bilateral naval exercise, Asad Al Bahr. The ship was received with a ceremonial welcome by the officers and sailors of the Pakistan Navy.
According to Pakistan Navy, the commanding officer of the QENS ALKHOR paid a visit to the Mazar-e-Quaid to pay homage and later met with Vice Admiral Faisal Abbasi, Commander of the Pakistan Fleet. The discussions during the meeting revolved around enhancing bilateral cooperation and mutual interests, along with appreciating the Pakistan Navy’s role in maintaining regional peace and security.
The visit of the QENS ALKHOR to Karachi highlights the ongoing cooperation and strong diplomatic relations between Qatar and Pakistan. It also provides an opportunity to strengthen defense and bilateral ties through joint exercises and training sessions with the Pakistan Navy.
During its stay, the Qatari ship is scheduled to engage in joint exercises and bilateral training, which are aimed at augmenting interoperability and tactical proficiency between the two naval forces.
