Qatar arrests 8 Indian Navy officers for spying, Indian state-sponsored international terrorism

Doha, October 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Exposing India’s involvement in international terrorism, Qatar has arrested eight senior officers of the Indian Navy on charges of spying and Indian state-sponsored, state-funded and state-backed terrorism. The Indian Navy officers arrested two months ago include ex-commander Purnendu Tiwari, who received the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award in 2019 from the then Indian President, Ram Nath Kovind.

The information about the arrest of these officers in Doha came to light from a social media post by a woman, Dr Meetu Bhargava on October 25. As per reports, the Indian navy officers working for a company were suspiciously involved in different spying and terrorism activities. The activities of these Indian Navy officers prompted the law enforcement agencies of Qatar to take action against them.

Qatar local officials said on condition of anonymity that the Indian Navy officers were terrorists and actively involved in spying and Indian state-funded, state-sponsored and state-backed terrorism in other countries by using the Qatari soil. Analysts have said that this is another worldwide humiliation and embarrassment for the terrorist country India as it is trying hard to instigate violence in other countries by sponsoring, backing and funding terrorism.
