Khuzdar, Commissioner Qalat Division Muhammad Naeem Bazai announced the initiation of a comprehensive information system under the Information Department, aiming to enhance data accessibility and the functioning of various departments within the division.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the new system, which includes the launch of a website and a mobile application named “Commissioner Qalat Devidan,” is designed to facilitate easy access to essential information for the public. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to activate and improve the operations of all departments at the divisional level. During a meeting with IT Officer Aftab Sarpara and other staff, Bazai detailed the Information Department’s task of collecting data across multiple sectors, including law enforcement, revenue cases, and government land management.
The Commissioner stressed the importance of expanding the Information Department’s capabilities to collect and report daily on vital statistics such as crime reports, revenue collection, and local administrative issues like death records and daily price controls. He underscored that such data should be promptly reported to the Commissioner’s office to ensure timely and effective governance.
Bazai also emphasized the role of the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR) in interpreting and publicizing the activities, schemes, and plans of government departments, suggesting that the Commissioner’s office and other departments maintain close communication with the DGPR to enhance public awareness and transparency.
