Punjab Public Service Commission Issues Guidelines for Answer Sheet Handling

Lahore: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released detailed instructions for candidates on the proper handling and completion of answer sheets in upcoming examinations, emphasizing the importance of accuracy to ensure fair machine scoring.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, candidates are urged to use a black marker for filling out the answer sheet, with blue as a secondary option if black is unavailable. It is critical that the paper code is correctly written and the corresponding bubble filled as indicated on the question paper. Candidates must fill the answer circles completely and avoid multiple responses to ensure their answers are properly registered during the machine scoring process.

Further instructions include prohibitions against cutting, erasing, or using correction pens, as these actions can lead to scoring errors. Additionally, candidates are reminded not to fold or otherwise damage the answer sheets. The guidelines highlight that machine scoring is final, and any stray marks, rough work, or improper filling could be mistakenly read as incorrect answers. The responsibility for any incomplete or incorrectly filled information solely rests with the candidate, as the PPSC will not undertake corrections.
