Punjab Police Successfully Rescues Kidnapped Hostage in Mianwali

Lahore, In a commendable operation by the Punjab Police, a hostage who was kidnapped for ransom from Lahore has been safely recovered from Mianwali. The police arrested all five individuals involved in the kidnapping, following directives from IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for swift and just legal proceedings against the culprits.

According to Punjab Police, Khurram Nazir Khan, who was abducted from his advertising agency office in Lahore Defense two days ago, was taken to the Wata Khel area in Mianwali by the kidnappers. They demanded a substantial ransom from Khan’s family for his release. Acting on orders from IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, DPO Mianwali Matiullah Khan and his team utilized modern technology and intelligence to trace and apprehend the kidnappers in a successful raid conducted in the Kacha Wata Khel area, near the Indus River.

The operation led to the arrest of Muhammad Hassan, Muhammad Shahzad Khan, Muhammad Ali, Nadeem Haider, and Muhammad Aamir. Additionally, two vehicles used in the crime were seized. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar lauded the efforts of DPO Mianwali and his team for the safe recovery of the hostage and emphasized the importance of completing legal proceedings promptly to ensure the accused are held accountable for their actions.

This successful rescue operation underscores the Punjab Police’s commitment to combating crime and safeguarding citizens, reinforcing public trust in law enforcement’s capability to protect and serve.
