Punjab Police Refutes Claims of Personnel Absence, Confirms All Assigned to Duties in Kacha

Lahore: In a recent clarification, Punjab Police dismissed reports suggesting that some members of the Punjab Constabulary had not reported for duty in Kacha, labeling these allegations as completely unfounded. The police force affirmed that all assigned personnel have reached their respective duty stations and are actively participating in law enforcement activities.

According to Punjab Police, “The news regarding the personnel of Punjab Constabulary disembarking early from the PC headquarters and not reporting for duty in Kacha is baseless and contrary to facts.” In detail, it was explained that a total of 121 personnel departed from Police Constabulary Farooqabad for their native station in Rajanpur, while another 160 were headed towards Rahim Yar Khan. Out of these, 25 personnel disembarked early at Iqbalabad Interchange due to a longer route, while others disembarked at Zahir Pir as their homes were nearby. The spokesperson emphasized that all personnel have reported for duty at their respective stations and expressed satisfaction upon returning to their native areas from the PC.

Further support to the spokesperson’s statement came from DPO Rahim Yar Khan, Rizwan Umar Gondal, who also denied the reports about personnel disembarking early from the PC headquarters and failing to report for duty in Kacha. He confirmed that all personnel from Punjab Constabulary Farooqabad in the Rahim Yar Khan district are present and accounted for at their duties. DPO Gondal strongly refuted the false news regarding the absence of constables from their duties and reiterated that Punjab Police is fully engaged in combating criminal activities in Kacha with unwavering determination. He further emphasized that the protection of lives and property of the public in Kacha is a priority, with continued efforts dedicated to maintaining the rule of law and eradicating criminal elements until peace is restored.
