Punjab Police Recognizes Officers for Exceptional Crime-Solving Achievements

Lahore, At a special ceremony held at the Central Police Office, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, celebrated the dedication and success of Punjab Police officers who have effectively resolved serious criminal cases including kidnappings, robberies, and murders. Dr. Anwar highlighted the critical role of advanced education and diverse backgrounds in enhancing the capabilities of the force.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar commended teams from Multan, Gujranwala, and Gujarat districts for their notable contributions to public safety. The ceremony acknowledged specific officers such as SSP Operations Multan, Arslan Zahid, for rescuing a kidnapped child and recovering valuable stolen goods, and DSP Javed Tahir Majeed for his team’s significant drug seizure in Muzaffarabad, Multan.

Other recognized efforts included the recovery of a high-value stolen vehicle in Gakhar Mandi by Inspector Farhat Nawaz’s team and the arrest of multiple robbery and dacoity suspects by Inspector Mujahid Abbas’s team. Dr. Anwar emphasized that the police’s proactive approach and the use of modern technology were key to these successes, demonstrating the force’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring community safety.
