Punjab Police Partners with Lahore Leeds University for Free Education of Police Martyrs’ Children

LAHORE, In a significant step towards supporting the education of police personnel’s children, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has announced a collaboration with Lahore Leeds University. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Punjab Police and the university, providing 100% free education to the children of police martyrs.

According to Punjab Police, the MOU signed by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Bhatti ensures that the children of police martyrs will receive free education at Lahore Leeds University. Additionally, the agreement offers a 50% discount on admission and tuition fees for children of serving, retired, and deceased police officers. Dr. Anwar stated that this MOU would facilitate higher education opportunities in various disciplines for these children, eliminating obstacles and ensuring a quality learning environment.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Bhatti of Lahore Leeds University commended the Punjab Police for their service and expressed the university’s commitment to supporting the education of police officers’ children. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara, DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Finance Naveed Ajmal, and other officials.
