Punjab Police Partners with Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust Hospital to Enhance Health Welfare

Lahore: The Punjab Police has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Welfare Trust Hospital to bolster the health welfare of its personnel and their families. The collaboration aims to provide substantial medical care discounts ranging from 10% to 27%.

According to Punjab Police, the agreement was signed during an event at the Central Police Office, spearheaded by Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar. Under this new partnership, families of police martyrs will benefit from a 27% discount on outpatient department services. Additional discounts include 25% for serving and retired officers, up to 20% for hospitalized personnel, 10% off on heart surgeries, and 20% on angiography and angioplasty procedures.

The initiative extends to all four hospitals managed by the Trust in Lahore and Rawalpindi. Dr. Usman Anwar expressed gratitude towards the hospital management for their role in advancing the health welfare of police employees. Dr. Shazia Asim Chaudhry, Vice President of the Trust, highlighted the importance of the partnership, applauding Punjab Police’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of its force.

This collaborative effort underscores a continued focus on health as a priority for the Punjab Police, supporting both active and retired members and their families across major medical concerns.
