Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Provide Digital Services to Over 2.7 Million Citizens


Lahore: Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz have continued their role in delivering digital services to citizens, with more than 2.729 million individuals availing themselves of these services in the current year. The initiative, designed to offer 24/7 assistance, remains a key component of the region’s public service strategy.



According to Punjab Police, the Khidmat Marakaz have facilitated over 1.014 million General Police Verifications and issued more than 510,000 Police Character Certificates. Additionally, more than 700,000 citizens completed Tenant Registration through these centers. The service has also provided Medico-Legal Certificates to over 100,000 citizens and extended legal and social protection to more than 67,000 individuals from vulnerable segments of society. In terms of vehicle-related services, 19,612 citizens obtained Vehicle Verification, while 56,526 registered Lost Documents Reports and 2,091 registered Crime Reports. More than 156,000 citizens acquired copies of First Information Reports (FIRs), and 49 Women Violence Reports were filed. Employees Registration (ROPE) was completed by over 88,000 citizens, and 2,133 individuals obtained Police Verification for Private Employment.



Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, emphasized the importance of the Khidmat Marakaz as a flagship public service delivery project. He instructed police personnel to maintain courtesy and professionalism in all interactions with citizens at Khidmat Marakaz, police stations, and other public venues.
