Lahore, In a commendable display of skill and determination, Punjab Police’s Muhammad Javed clinched the first position at the 14th Syed Manzoor Hussain Memorial Golf Tournament held at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course. This victory not only showcases the athletic prowess within the police force but also highlights the ongoing success of police athletes under the auspices of the Pakistan Police Sports Board.
According to Punjab Police, the tournament saw participation from some of the country’s most renowned golfers, making Javed’s win with a gross score of 75 all the more significant. The competition was fierce, but Javed managed to outperform his contenders to bring home the trophy.
Following his victory, Muhammad Javed visited the Sports Branch of the Central Police Office, where he was congratulated by Chief Sports Officer DIG Logistics and Procurement, Athar Ismail. In recognition of Javed’s outstanding achievement, DIG Athar Ismail announced that a certificate of appreciation would be awarded to him on behalf of the Police Sports Board. Furthermore, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is set to honor Muhammad Javed with a cash prize for his triumph in the tournament.
