Punjab Police Commit to Enhanced Policing Facilities under Chief Minister’s Vision

Lahore, In a significant push towards improved law enforcement and public safety, the Punjab Police have committed to ensuring the provision of top-notch policing facilities across all districts of the province. This initiative is in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and was articulated by Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, during his visit to the Center for Public Safety Lower Mall.

According to Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while overseeing the construction of the new building, emphasized the importance of completing the project swiftly and to a high standard. The visit served as an opportunity for DIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi and SSP Operations Ali Raza to update Dr. Anwar on the progress of the work being carried out.

One of the key topics discussed was the establishment of a specialized center for reporting and controlling crimes related to women, indicating a focused approach to address gender-specific issues within the broader framework of public safety enhancements. Dr. Anwar underscored the ambition to furnish the Center for Public Safety with modern policing facilities, ensuring that citizens benefit from a state-of-the-art environment for all policing-related services.

Instructions were given to supervisory officers to expedite all construction efforts to meet the project’s deadlines. The presence of senior officials, including DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSP Operations Lahore Ali Raza, and SDPO Gulbarg Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi, underscored the collective commitment of the Punjab Police to realize the Chief Minister’s vision for a safer and more secure province.
