Punjab Police Chief Orders Swift Action After Murder of Kidnapped Child in Muzaffargarh

Muzaffargarh: The tragic discovery of a kidnapped child’s body has prompted decisive action from Punjab’s top police official. Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has directed a thorough investigation into the murder following the recovery of the child’s body, who had been missing for three days.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar has called for an expedited report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Dera Ghazi Khan on the circumstances leading to the child’s death. Instructing the District Police Officer (DPO) of Muzaffargarh to detain and interrogate suspects swiftly, Dr. Anwar underscored the urgency of bringing those responsible to justice. He stressed the importance of meticulous investigation and swift law enforcement response to ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended.

Further directives from Dr. Anwar included maintaining continuous communication with the bereaved family, guaranteeing them that the police are prioritizing their case with the utmost seriousness.
