Lahore, In a major operation directive, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the need for expediting the process of evacuating illegal immigrants from all districts of Punjab. He called for enhanced coordination among various security and intelligence agencies to ensure a swift and peaceful evacuation.

He clarified that unregistered children of immigrants in the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) records would be considered illegal residents.
The IG Punjab commended the RPOs of Multan and D.G. Khan for their effective performance in the evacuation process. He stressed that all regional and district police officers should work in close coordination with the district administration and related institutions to make the evacuation process more effective and successful.
Importantly, Dr. Anwar emphasized that respect for human rights must be maintained during the evacuation process. The meeting, attended by Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed, Additional IG CTD Waseem Sial, and other senior officers, was held via video link with all RPOs, CPOs, and DPOs participating.
