Lahore: In a significant move to support its injured officers, the Punjab Police has allocated approximately 2.5 million rupees for their medical treatment. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the health and recovery of those injured while on duty.
According to Punjab Police, Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar has disbursed the funds across several districts, including Lahore. The allocation includes 1 million rupees for Constable Mudassar Raza, 500,000 rupees each for Constables Qaiser Mehmood and Muhammad Imran, 250,000 rupees for Constable Salman Gilani, and 100,000 rupees each for Sub-Inspector Abid Rasool and Head Constable Ghulam Dastgir. Dr. Anwar emphasized that providing the best possible treatment and ensuring the swift recovery of injured personnel is a primary concern. He also urged regional and district police officers to extend all necessary support and assistance to their injured colleagues.
