Punjab Police Act on Horrific Killing of Boy in Muzaffargarh Land Dispute

Muzaffargarh: The Punjab Police have launched a vigorous investigation following a tragic incident where a boy was killed by being set on fire over a land dispute. The case, which has shocked the local community, has drawn significant attention from the highest levels of law enforcement.

According to Punjab Police, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken immediate notice of the brutal event and has directed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Muzaffargarh to ensure the swift arrest of the suspects involved. Dr. Anwar has called for them to be brought to justice without delay, emphasizing that such ruthless behavior warrants no leniency and must be met with stringent legal actions.

A police spokesperson stated that a formal case has been registered against the suspects, and active raids are underway to secure their capture. Additionally, a post-mortem is being conducted on the deceased, while the Crime Scene Unit and Punjab Forensic Science Agency have collected necessary evidence from the site of the crime.
