Lahore: A meeting chaired by Punjab Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth, was convened to assess the machinery of the Highway Department. The minister instructed all field formations within the Communications and Works Department to gather district-wise data on the machinery available across all districts, ensuring that complete and detailed information is collected.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth emphasized the need to compile details regarding the type, quantity, current location, and operational status of the machinery. He directed that records of functional, non-functional, and repair-requiring machinery in all districts should be prepared. This initiative aims to consolidate accurate and verified information about the available machinery.
The minister reiterated the importance of providing authentic and verified data on the machinery. He also called for a comprehensive report that includes information about the machinery in all districts to be submitted promptly.
